We had a very interesting call this week here at DCR. Melissa contacted us to help her with her Allen carpet repair. She removed a built in wall unit which left a hole in her carpet because it was originally installed around it. She made a valiant effort at finding matching carpet but alas, there was none to be had. This is actually a common problem. It’s extremely difficult to match existing carpet. She came up with a very unique solution however. She asked if I could graft in a decorative piece of carpet that had some matching colors within the design. Although I advised against it she wanted it so I made it happen for her. This is by far the most unique repair we’ve done here at DCR but never let it be said that we aren’t compliant with our customers needs. Thanks Melissa!
